FAQ
Which operating systems are supported?
Marvel Snap Tracker is based on the Electron platform and runs natively on Windows 10/11. Windows 7 and all previous Windows versions are NOT supported.
Is it legal to use Marvel Snap Tracker?
Yes. The program is legal to use because it does not modify any game executable files and does not hack the game to get information from it. We use open data that is available to every user. You could do anything the tracker does with pen and paper, so it can't be called cheating. It just keeps records of your game history and statistics. Also, the code is open source, digitally signed, and the publisher is trusted.
Which logs are you tracking?
We rely on JSON files located in the ...\AppData\LocalLow\Second Dinner\SNAP\Standalone\States\nvprod folder.
Can I sync several SNAP accounts with one MarvelSnap.pro account?
NO! If you sync a SNAP account to a MarvelSnap.pro account which was already synced before, it will lead to a complete mix up (data from both SNAP accounts will be messed in a single MarvelSnap.pro account, and this account will be busted hopelessly). So please, do not try to link several SNAP users to one MarvelSnap.pro account. You need separate accounts for separate SNAP users. In order to run several accounts smoothly, we recommend you register MarvelSnap.pro accounts beforehand and login on the site with the account you want to sync. Also, when you are confirming the sync, please pay attention to what accounts are getting synced. If a mix up occurs, the only solution will be to completely wipe an account and start tracking from an empty account.
Can I track BlueStacks Marvel Snap?
You can, but it's complicated. You should get nvprod folder from BlueStacks Android image. It's located here: "/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.nvsgames.snap /files/Standalone/States/nvprod". Then, you need to manually point the tracker to monitor that folder. When you update files in it, the tracker will make uploads. This is far from our primary usage case, and the tracker was developed for Windows Snap in the first place. We do not recommend to using Marvel Snap Tracker with BlueStacks.
Do you have an overlay?
No, since the data in the logs does not update during the match. This means that the Devs don't want players to have in-game advisory tools. We respect that and provide only analytical instruments, without live in-game support.
Are you going to make an overlay?
In theory we could use memory reading tech to get the data right from the running game's memory. This could let us make classic tracker with pop-up overlay on the game screen. But we don't want to be that intrusive and we keep our tracker minimalistic. We use only the data that the Devs decided to make accessible for 3rd parties like ourselves, without hacking.
