Marvel has a plethora of superheroes, many of which are available in Marvel Snap. Several of them have themes for cards and casinos. We discuss them in the article below.

While we all love the outright heroes like Captain America and Spider-Man, there are some characters who like to play things a little more risky. Often themed with cards and casinos, these heroes like to take big risks for maximum rewards. Some of them are even available on Marvel Snap. So, who are Marvel's main gambling-themed heroes?

Gambit

Gambit first appeared in the X-Men in the late eighties and early nineties. He was a very mysterious character at the time and forged a romantic alliance with Rogue. This has led to tension at times, particularly as he has been as much a friend as a foe to the team.

His power is the ability to store kinetic energy and then charge an item with it. This is where he gets his casino link. His preferred weapon of choice is usually a deck of playing cards, which can be thrown like daggers and explode like bombs on impact.

The Gambit card appeared in Marvel Snap with series 3. On a reveal, you can discard a card from your own hand to destroy a random enemy card. This makes him literally a very useful wildcard in the game. There are also a few artistic variations, with a very cool pixel version.

Domino

Most people were introduced to Domino through the Deadpool movie. However, she has been in and out of the X-Men and X-Force for some time. She is linked to the world of gambling because of her probability-manipulating powers. If Domino rolls a dice, the chances are it is landing on six each time, should she want it to.

Luckily, you don’t need powers like Domino to win big. Online casinos are now extremely popular, and they provide a wealth of bonuses so players can task part without using their own bankroll for some time. At websites like Casinobonusca.com these are ranked and reviewed for players, helping them find the right operator for their needs much quicker. By suggesting transparent, legitimate operators, the probability of a win on the games is always posted in the small print as a return to player rating, so people know what they are dealing with.

The Domino card arrived in season one and was immediately popular. The card always has to be drawn on turn 2 and not before, which does sometimes make it hard to use effectively. It has a power level of three and a cost of two.

Jack of Hearts

Jack of Hearts has yet to get a card of himself made in Marvel Snap. This is probably because he is such an obscure Avenger, who has not appeared in any movies and few animations.

Originally, he arrived in Marvel's own Kung-Fu comics, then became a staple of the Iron Man series. As a child, the character was doused in Zero Fluid, which reacted with his part-alien DNA. However, the powers it bestowed on him were hard to control, and he had to build a suit to contain them, which was designed to look like the Jack of Hearts playing card.

His most prominent moment was as part of the Avengers Disassembled storyline, when Scarlet Witch lost control of her powers. Jack had been in space and was forced to return, where he unwittingly exploded, destroying the Avengers' mansion and killing Scott Lang. However, he would later return from beyond the grave and start a romantic attachment to She-Hulk.

Jackpot

Jackpot is another character yet to get her own Marvel Snap card. She is another obscure hero who has mainly been involved with the Spider-Man Universe and has been different people at various points.

The first character was named Sara, and was a worker at Oscorp, who took the catchphrase of a soap character played by Mary Jane Watson Parker. However, she sold this superhero persona to Alana Jobson. However, when Alana died playing hero, the original character was wracked with guilt and took up her identity once more.

The most recent iteration has involved a few of the main characters in Peter Parker's life. His main love interest, Mary Jane, has now donned the costume of Jackpot, at one point using a slot machine that gave superpowers depending on how the reels landed. However, she has now bonded with the symbiote Venom to create a new hero.

There are now over 200 characters on Marvel Snap. This is from their catalogue of over 70,000. Marvel is always searching for new themes when it comes to superheroes. As casinos become more popular, so may characters in this vein. For now, there are already a host more not even mentioned there, such as the villain Arcade. Keep an eye out, as their wildcard powers may soon be available in new decks.
